Miguel graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Nursing in Portugal in 2011. After gaining valuable experience in his home country, he moved to the United Kingdom in 2015, where he has worked in a variety of veterinary practices, including the renowned referral centers Queen Mother Hospital for Animals (QMHA) and The Ralph Veterinary Referral Centre.

Throughout his career, Miguel has developed particular interests in physiotherapy and rehabilitation, neurology, and diagnostic imaging. He is passionate about advancing patient care and enjoys helping animals recover and improve their quality of life through a multidisciplinary approach.

Outside of work, Miguel enjoys exploring the outdoors on both bicycles and motorcycles. He is an enthusiastic traveler who loves discovering new places, around the world.

Miguel also shares his home with Mia, a rescue cat with a unique personality. Like many pets belonging to veterinary professionals, Mia comes with a few quirks of her own. She suffers from allergies to many of the grasses, shrubs, and trees commonly found in the UK, keeping Miguel on his toes both professionally and personally.
