Laurie is a dedicated Student Veterinary Nurse in the final stages of her training, working towards becoming a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in the coming months. She has a particular passion for inpatient care, especially when it comes to feline patients, and takes pride in creating a calm, comfortable environment for even the most nervous cats. With a compassionate nature and a keen interest in feline behaviour, Laurie enjoys learning how small details in care and handling can make a big difference to recovery and wellbeing.

 

Outside of work, Laurie shares her home with two indoor cats, Shadow and Margo, who continually inspire her love for feline nursing. When she’s not studying or caring for patients, Laurie enjoys attending as many music festivals/gigs as possible!
