At Taylor Vets, your pet’s well-being is our top priority, which is why we will always be on hand to assist with any pricing questions and queries you may have regarding your pet’s treatment.
We are proud to offer the Taylor Vets Price Promise.
Our team is passionate about communicating the available treatment options for your pets, and we promise to be as transparent as we can with our prices.
We will always provide you with an estimated cost for any surgical treatment, and will always keep you informed if the cost of the treatment we provide is likely to exceed any pre-discussed estimate.
The fees that you pay for your pet’s treatment reflect the contribution and investment that our clinicians make to the wellbeing of your pet; as well as funding the services, medications, facilities and expert advice that encompass our practice.
With our Taylor Vets Price Promise there are no hidden fees, and that’s why the pricing of our surgical treatments is inclusive of post operative pain relief and a buster collar.

Pet insurance can often be complex, with varying claim conditions and coverage amounts. To ensure you fully understand your policy’s limitations before your appointment, it’s helpful to review your insurance documents in advance.
Depending on your policy, we may be able to claim treatment costs directly from your insurance provider. However, this process can take several days to arrange, so if you’d like to pursue a direct claim, please discuss this with our reception team ahead of your appointment. You’ll also need to contact your insurance company to authorise our finance team to discuss your policy on your behalf.
To help us process your claim smoothly, please provide your policy details to our reception team as soon as possible following your appointment. If a direct claim is required, you must give permission to your insurer for our finance team to discuss your policy. In some cases, your insurance provider may need to email us a claim link, so we recommend checking this in advance.
All insurance claims (direct and indirect) will be charged an administration fee of £28 for processing the insurance claim (unless you are on our members plan, which means there is no charge). The fee will be payable by you along with any amounts not covered by your insurer.
When attending your appointment, please bring a signed claim form and your policy details. Without these, your claim processing may be delayed.
Full Payment Upfront or Upon collection: The total estimated cost of the surgery must be paid in full prior to the surgery or upon collection. You will be reimbursed by your insurance company once your claim has been processed.
Direct claims must be arranged before your appointment, and approval may take several days. If we agree to a direct claim but any costs are not covered by your insurance provider (e.g., excess fees), you will be responsible for paying those directly to us. Note that direct claims may not be possible if your insurance doesn’t cover the treatment, or if we anticipate that your provider won’t approve the claim after reviewing your pet’s clinical history. The final decision regarding direct claims rests with Taylor Vets.
A security deposit of £150 is required for all direct claims authorised by Taylor Vets, and must be paid before we can begin processing your claim.
Some insurance companies require pre-authorisation before diagnostics or treatment. This can only be arranged after an initial consultation, as the specialist must first assess your pet to estimate treatment costs. Pre-authorisations can take up to five working days to approve, so please check with your insurer before proceeding with any treatment to ensure coverage.
Please note that Taylor Vets cannot guarantee your insurer will cover all conditions or treatments, and you are liable for any balance not paid by your insurer.
The full balance due when you collect your pet or after your appointment.
We know that unexpected vet bills can be difficult to manage. To help support you and your pets, Taylor Vets has partnered with Animal Friends and Omni Capital Retail Finance Ltd to offer 0% interest finance on eligible treatments.
This finance option allows you to spread the cost of treatment over a maximum of eight months, with no added interest. Applications are quick and straightforward, but are subject to status and a credit check by the lender.
Finance is only available for treatment costs over £200 and applies to domestic pets only. It does not cover livestock or cosmetic procedures such as declawing, ear cropping or tail docking. Routine care, such as boosters, flea or worm treatments, rabies vaccinations and neutering (unless required in an emergency) is also excluded.
At present, finance is only available at our Brackley Practice.
Taylor Vets acts as an introducer and not a lender.
Finance is provided by Omni Capital Retail Finance Ltd.
Terms, conditions and fees apply.
If you would like more information, or to check your eligibility, please speak with our friendly team.
You will only be considered for finance if you:
When applying, two fees are payable directly to Taylor Vets. These fee’s are separate to any that may be charged by the lender.
An Admin Fee of £28 is paid at the time of application; this is refunded if your finance is approved. There is also an Arrangement Fee of 5% of the loan amount, which is also paid at the time of application. This fee is only kept if your finance is successful, and is refunded (or applied to your balance) if your application is declined.
For example, if you choose to finance £1,000, the Admin Fee would be £28 and the Arrangement Fee would be £50. If your application is approved, the £28 Admin Fee is refunded and the £50 Arrangement Fee is retained. If your application is declined, the £50 is refunded but the £28 Admin Fee is not.
Taylor Vets acts solely as an introducer and not a lender of finance. Finance is provided by Animal Friends – Omni Capital Retail Finance Ltd (“Omni Capital”), a credit provider/lender. Credit is available only to permanent UK residents aged 18 or over, subject to status, and finance for veterinary treatment at Taylor Vets is arranged through this third party.
Finance is available for the treatment of domestic pets only, excluding treatments relating to declawing (onychectomy), ear-cropping, tail docking, livestock dehorning, and any other treatments that Taylor Vets has identified as excluded.
An administration fee of £28 and a finance arrangement fee of 5% of the total loan amount are payable to Taylor Vets before any finance application is submitted. The administration fee is refunded only if finance is approved; the arrangement fee is retained only if the application is successful, and refunded or applied to the client’s balance if declined.
Finance approval, including payment of any required deposit to the lender, must be confirmed before treatment or surgery can begin, unless specifically authorised under emergency or exceptional circumstances by senior staff. If a finance application is rejected, the full cost of treatment becomes immediately payable to Taylor Vets. Clients remain liable for all charges until full settlement is received from the finance provider.
By applying for finance, clients agree to provide accurate contact details, respond promptly to all lender communications, and accept full responsibility for repayment in line with the Terms and Conditions of both Taylor Vets and Omni Capital.
Finance options are subject to individual status, and terms and conditions apply. Your application will be subject to a credit check using a recognised credit reference agency. Omni Capital’s Terms and Conditions can be found at www.omnicapitalretailfinance.co.uk
